Powerful skin care routine reduces facial pores

Appearance is very insecure, but pores require the skin to accommodate sebum. Pores cannot be removed, but they can be disguised in appearance. It is by shrinking their size with a skin care routine to reduce pores.

Shrinking the pores on the face can be done easily through a daily skin care routine. Keeping the pores clean prevents them from widening and dilating. Clogged pores expand their size and the pores especially in the nose area produce more oil. Be careful, clogged pores can also cause blackheads and acne.

Before doing any pore shrinking treatment, do the basics first when doing a skin care routine to keep the pores clean and unclogged. It's easy! Follow these five steps

    Routine exfoliation

Before exfoliating, place a warm towel on your face to open up the pores. Then exfoliate gently, focusing on the dry areas of your face and the pores on your nose and cheeks. Then rinse with lukewarm water. Exfoliation should be done on a daily basis, two to three times a week for normal oily skin and once a week for sensitive skin.

Use a face cleanser in a lightweight formula.

Clearing the pores with an exfoliating cleanser is indeed easy. However, it is better to use a lighter cleanser on the face, such as an oil-based cleanser that moisturizes and soothes the skin, as the negative effects can irritate the skin. For oily skin, you can opt for a cleanser with clay content to cleanse the pores to a greater extent.

    Diligent Use of Moisturizers

No matter what the situation or skin type, moisturizers remain the most important part of a skin care routine. Moisturizer is the most basic of skin care routines and should not be overlooked as it not only moisturizes the skin but also shrinks the pores.

If you haven't figured it out yet, dry and dehydrated skin tends to produce more oil to balance the moisture in the skin. However, the benefits of this sebum actually clog the pores. This is why moisturizers are extremely important. Also, depending on your skin type, choose a moisturizer with a lightweight, non-comedogenic formula.

    Wear a face mask diligently

Use a face mask weekly to optimize the cleansing of your pores. Before wearing the mask, first attach a warm towel to your face and open the pores for five minutes. Then wear the mask as usual; do this once every 1~2 weeks.

    Use topical retinol.

For maximum results, you can add a treatment with retinol. The use of retinol coupled with regular exfoliation can accelerate cell turnover for smoother and smoother facial skin results.

    Sunscreen Daily

Sun exposure of the skin can decrease collagen production so that the elasticity of the skin begins to decline and cause the appearance of pores. To prevent this, it is imperative to use sunscreen daily. A combination of moisturizer and sunscreen will make your skin feel moisturized and protected from the negative effects of UV rays.
